Tuesday was Anna's 28th birthday. She spent the first half of the day sleeping, because she worked the previous night. All of her co-workers sang Happy Birthday to her at midnight.
Then she went shopping and got some new clothes. Meanwhile, she continued to get birthday phone calls regularly from all of her family and friends, and received a nice gift from her Visiting Teachers.
Then, after Lincoln got home from work, we had the party. She opened her gift from Lincoln and Lane: The Blue Album by Weezer! Circa 1994. This was a brand-new replacement for the one she lost back in high school! She loved it and was very surprised.
She ran briefly to Cub Scout Pack Meeting (she is so dedicated), and then off we went for dinner at Outback Steakhouse, which was a great night out for us.
Finally, we put Lane to bed and watched "Parenthood" before Anna completely sacked out at the early hour of 10 p.m. A great day!

happy birthday, anna! you're in scouts too?! what group? our little group is small so our wolves and bears are combined and it makes quite the adventure almost every week.
i havent' seen parenthood yet. but i do love the actress who plays the mom when she was the mom on gilmore girls!
